My story with Microsoft:

Hello everyone reading this post, I am Rahul Kumar, First of all I would like to thank Microsoft Corporation for providing me this great opportunity.
The first time when I saw a Personal Computer, all I did was wondering that how people use this machine and for what purpose? The first purpose of mine was to play games like MS-Pinball, Minesweeper, etc. I still when I opened MS-Paint for the first time and was surprised because I was having a pencil which was moving and drawing lines as I was moving the mouse pointer on the screen. Then gradually my purpose pack was added with playing songs and watching videos. Before computer I was a video game lover but then everything changed.

I discovered more use of computer when I get Computer Science as a subject in my school in standard 3rd. I started using calculator, notepad, etc. Then moved to LOGO, BASIC, C++ and Java with skills of Microsoft Office tools and Internet as I moved to higher standards and completed my high school education in St. Xavier’s High School, Patna. Now I was a computer geek. Surfing web, doing random things, experimenting unusual things which sometime worked and sometime not.

Microsoft has greatly impacted my life. It has been a long journey from MS-Paint to writing codes in different IDEs. From Windows 97 to Windows 8.1. Microsoft has made my life easier and smarter too by bringing the globe at my fingertips through its innovations. Being a BCA student and of course a technology geek I spend a lot of time with my gadgets, using the new innovations and also sharing it with my family, friends, classmates and other people through social media.

Now, as a B.C.A. student I have jumped into learning details about what I have passion and greed to know and explore. Taking all possible actions to master different languages like C, C++, Java and Visual Basic, etc. DBMS languages like SQL. Including web designing. But I don’t stick to learning these things only but I also share whatever I know with others too as much as possible. It feels great when people come to me with their problems be it in their computer, laptop or mobile phone and I fix it. I too give technical advice to people from what I have learned and know.
Microsoft Corporation has played a vital part in enabling to be whatever I am today. Its operating systems has provided the platform on which I have used its different tools. Without Microsoft I can’t imagine computing with ease and comfort.

I share new innovations and my view about them with masses but with Microsoft I will be able to do it on a larger scale. The recognition by Microsoft will obviously draw attention of more audiences towards me. By organising seminars or workshops I will be able to reach a larger part of my society and make them aware with the new Microsoft technologies, their use and benefits and most importantly how people can use them to make their world a better place for themselves and others. By making the society aware of what can be achieved with the help of technologies and making them to use those technologies, I will be able to raise the standard of living of my society. This will also increase their technical quotient  and will encourage them to use new technologies and innovations which will lead to decrease the communication barrier for them around the globe.
This was a little glimpse of my story with Microsoft Corporation following the word limit ;)
